Tracy Teems
Graduate Intern
Tracy Teems is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern who is passionate about helping individuals and couples work through life’s challenges and grow in meaningful ways. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina Beaufort and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.
Tracy has lived in South Carolina her entire life. She grew up in Hampton County and now resides in Eutawville with her husband, Jeff, of almost five years. Together, they have five adult children and share nine grandchildren.
Tracy uses a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Her goal is to equip clients with practical tools they can use in everyday life while feeling supported throughout the process. She is also SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) certified and trained in Psychological First Aid.
Tracy’s goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. She strives to walk alongside her clients with compassion and respect, helping them feel supported throughout the counseling process while working toward real and lasting change.
