Questions You May Have

What is individual therapy?

Individual therapy is a one-on-one counseling process where you work with a licensed therapist to explore thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. It provides a confidential and supportive space to address challenges, develop coping skills, and foster personal growth.

What types of concerns can individual therapy help with?

Individual therapy can support people facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Therapy also helps individuals gain insight, build resilience, and improve overall emotional well-being.

How long does individual therapy typically last?

The length of therapy varies depending on each person’s needs, goals, and the challenges they are addressing. Some individuals benefit from short-term support focused on specific concerns, while others engage in longer-term therapy for deeper personal growth and healing.

What should I expect during my first therapy session?

The first session typically focuses on getting to know you, discussing your concerns, and identifying goals for therapy. Your therapist will ask questions about your experiences and help create a treatment plan tailored to your needs and progress.
